From Fishing 0 to Fishing 19 with almost no time loss, plus gear progression all the way to 50.

Goal: hit Fishing 19 as fast as possible so the next progression steps open up.
You need roughly 10-15m coins. The easiest early-game method for that is Hunting.
Go to Coral in the Hub. You can donate fish there and receive Fishing XP in return.
The easiest path is to buy the following fish from the Auction House and donate them:
This gives you a total of 205,000 Fishing XP.
After that, you still need around 120,000 Fishing XP to reach Fishing 19. That is where Can of Worms comes in.
Each can gives you an average of 428 Fishing XP, or bait instead.
Overall, this method costs under 15m coins and saves roughly 4-5 hours of manual fishing.
Recommended upgrades, kept short and practical.
Important modifiers: Pitchin Reforge, Lure 6, Piscary 5 or 6, Angler 6, Expertise, 5x Wet Books, Fine or better Aquamarine Gems, stars from Fishing 27 onward, Frail, Recombobulator, Quick Bite, Flash, and more.
Important modifiers: Snowy Reforge and Recombobulators.
Pet items: your main fishing pet should almost always hold a Washed Up Souvenir. Once you reach 100 SCC and 350 Fishing Speed, you can also use Burnt Texts, especially from Fishing 45 onward.
You need a Figstone Splitter. For more damage, you can add Rugged Reforge, Hot or Fuming Potato Books, or a Fighting Booster.
At Fishing 24 you can pick up the Soul Whip so you can one-tap all Striders at once. At Fishing 47, that becomes the Flaming Flay.
A Hyperion is mandatory. Without it, Crimson Isle fishing is not really worth doing.
At Fishing 47 you unlock the Flaming Flay, which matters for mobs like Ragnarok because they are immune to magic damage.
